Nuzhat’s unique trait is her fluency in four languages, including Pashto, Urdu, English, and Dari, which allows her to connect with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Nuzhat’s passion for understanding different cultures is evident in her love for conversations that bridge gaps and foster connections. Her warm and approachable demeanour makes it easy for others to trust and open up to her, creating meaningful bonds. Coming from a large and close-knit family, Nuzhat values responsibility and cherishes her role as a loving mother. Even after immigrating to New Zealand from Afghanistan, she faced challenges head-on and never let go of her dreams. Undeterred by the circumstances, Nuzhat embarked on a journey to pursue higher education in a foreign land. Meet Fay, the kind and friendly Saturday receptionist at Perform Podiatry. Originally from Iraq, Fay was born in Christchurch and currently resides in Auckland, New Zealand. As a student at Westlake Girls High School, she has big dreams of studying law at Auckland University after completing her high school education. Fay’s genuine passion for helping people and forming meaningful connections with patients sets her apart in her role as a receptionist. She believes in the importance of building trust with others and strives to create a welcoming and comforting environment for everyone she interacts with. Beyond her work at the podiatry clinic, Fay has a deep love for reading, often losing herself in the pages of captivating books. When she’s not engrossed in a story, she can be found at the beach, either enjoying a refreshing swim or taking leisurely walks along the shore. Spending quality time with her family and friends is something Fay cherishes and looks forward to. Meet Emily, the invaluable addition to our team this year, with a wealth of administrative experience garnered from a diverse range of business, non-profit, and community organizations. Her passion lies in streamlining operations and implementing efficient systems to ensure the clinic runs seamlessly, all while prioritizing top-notch service for our cherished patients. Hailing originally from Washington DC, USA, Emily’s journey led her and her family to call Auckland home for the past 17 years. Despite the time spent abroad, her unmistakable American accent still shines through when you give the clinic a ring! Emily finds immense joy in spending quality moments with her loved ones, be it family or friends, and can often be found engaging in exhilarating games of pickleball, sailing, or actively participating in church activities. With Emily’s expertise and vibrant personality, our team thrives, and our commitment to delivering exceptional care to each patient remains stronger than ever. We are grateful to have her on board, ensuring that every aspect of the clinic resonates with the highest standards of excellence.

Juliana Eu

Juliana is of Malaysian heritage with a background in Applied linguists. She ventured into administration when her kids were young as it allowed her to be home for her kids after school. She enjoyed administration as it gave her the opportunity to put systems in place to make work more efficient. Juliana subscribes to the motto of her alma mater “ Ancora imparo” (I am still learning) in life. Her philosophy is to be the best she can be, physically and mentally. Hence, she is often excited about opportunities to upskill and learn new things. Her best friend has nick named her the “professional student”. Juliana also loves the outdoors and seeing the world. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit through swimming, biking, running and the gym.

Lynn Gorges BHSc (Pod.)

Lynn is our exceptional podiatrist that specialises in medical pedicures – and does so brilliantly.  She loves helping men and women look and feel great on their feet, and loves the difference she can make to a person’s comfort and pain with the care she provides. Lynn is bilingual in both English and NZSL. She has an extraordinary story – being born with non-functional ears but being equipped with a cochlear implant at age 7 which enables her to hear well with the help of a microphone. Outside of work, Lynn is a budding world traveler, having visited 14 countries to date and loves exploring back roads on a motorcycle. Lynn believes that when your feet look great, you feel great. This is why we began offering and placing great importance on cosmetic podiatry – because you need to be able to trust that you are in good, qualified hands and that your health and well-being are the number one priority while receiving fantastic and genuine foot care. Using pecialised Podiatric equipment, Lynn will have your feet glowing after your medical pedicure, as well as managing any cosmetic problems you may have when it comes to hard or thick nails, dry or peeling skin, broken or damaged nails, overgrown cuticles, curved or ingrown nails, and more. HANAN KANE BHSC (POD.)

PRINCIPAL PODIATRIST & MANAGING DIRECTOR It was Hanan’s ambition, drive and desire to improve the lives of others that saw her excel in the field of Podiatry. She not only provides the best clinic solutions and treatments for her patients foot and leg problems, but does so with their goals, careers and daily activities in mind. She believes that every person has the right to stay active and continue to do the things thy love across all walks of life, and enabling them to do so is an aspect of her career that she finds extremely rewarding. Hanan’s ability to connect with and relate to people from a variety of cultures is one of the many things her patients enjoy and value about her. This stems from her diverse background; immigrating to New Zealand from Iran with her family at an early age and completing all her education here. After graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science specialising in Podiatry, Hanan has undertaken many postgraduate courses in the field of sports medicine and rehabilitation. Her special interest in pain management means she is able to significantly improve the lives of her patients through reducing not only short-term pain, but pain in the long-term, as well as the recurrence of her patients’ injuries. It is Hanan’s vision to see Perform Podiatry established as the leading Podiatric clinic in Auckland, and she is well on her way to achieving this. Her greatest pride and joy are her children, Cyrus and Arya, and she’s loving watching them grow. There are 6 primary techniques that Hanan uses to manage lower limb pain:
