Perform Podiatry is built on the vision of delivering excellence in clinical Podiatry to every member of the family, regardless of their age or stage of life. It is this vision paired with the experience and passion of husband and wife team, Marty and Hanan Kane, that saw Perform Podiatry become an integral part of the Remuera and Newmarket community at the One Health building.
Their wealth of experience in foot and ankle care is not just limited to practising Podiatry. Marty was a lecturer at New Zealand’s only School of Podiatry for over 17 years, teaching eager minds about the foundations of foot and leg care. His background in orthotics and prosthetics has seen him be in charge of teaching the biomechanical principles behind custom orthotic design and manufacture at the University, making him one of very few experts in this field. Needless to say, Marty uses his skills and knowledge with every single orthotic we prescribe here at Perform Podiatry. Over the years, both Marty and Hanan have used their skills to give back to the community, volunteering and giving their time at various events including the annual Oxfam 100km Trailwalker.
