Julia Birchall
Born
and raised in Auckland, Julia is a proud Kiwi who graduated in 2020 and has since gained valuable clinical experience working as a
podiatrist both in New Zealand and overseas. Her experience across different healthcare environments has helped shape her patient-centred
approach to podiatry.
Julia has a genuine passion for helping people improve their quality of life through better foot and lower limb health. She believes that even small improvements in foot comfort, mobility and function can make a significant difference to someone's everyday life.
One of the things Julia loves most about podiatry is the opportunity to make a real difference, whether that's helping someone walk comfortably again, return to their favourite sport, manage a longstanding foot concern or simply enjoy their daily activities without pain.
Julia takes a friendly, approachable and caring approach to patient care. She enjoys getting to know her patients, understanding their individual needs and working alongside them to develop practical, personalised treatment plans. She believes in empowering patients with the knowledge and support they need to take an active role in their recovery and long-term foot health.
With a strong appreciation for the importance of movement and physical activity, Julia particularly enjoys helping people stay active, recover from injuries and return to doing the things they love. She understands how frustrating foot and lower limb pain can be and is committed to helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Outside the clinic, Julia is a keen sports enthusiast who enjoys hockey, football and team sports. Having always enjoyed an active lifestyle, she understands firsthand the importance of staying mobile, healthy and injury-free.
Julia is excited to be part of the team at Perform Podiatry and looks forward to helping patients of all ages put their best foot forward.
